We had a quick pit stop in Broadway to have a drink and cake. After 10 minutes of waiting to order, we decided to sit upstairs to get out of the way of the chaos downstairs. None of the tables had been cleared, it didn’t feel particularly clean and the young lad serving us clearly kept pushing us down the queue as we were upstairs and out of sight. After 25 minutes had passed my wife went to ask if our drinks and cake were on their way and he said he was just going to start making them. 5 minutes later they arrived, my coffee didn’t come with any milk and the children’s babycinnos were literally just warmed milk, not even any chocolate sprinkles, they had also forgotten the cake! They went back downstairs and started serving other people (again!) before we’d had the rest of our order, by which point i had to go back downstairs to complain that we had been waiting half an hour for 2 coffees, 2 babycinnos and 3 cakes. They had also double sold the one piece of cake left, to the people behind us. Completely tarnished the whole experience and we won’t be returning.less

Our visit here was a big disappointment! From the pictures we had great expectations to come to a cozy and nice place. Instead we found a tired looking and warn out place that looked more like a small cafeteria than a cozy cakery. We asked to use the restroom, but it was out of order, so we had to go to the public toilets. The sandwiches was not good - way to much industrial cheese! The staff was friendly, but we wouldn't go back. less
A lovely cafe just off Broadway’s main road. Very cheerful and welcoming. Items made freshly and to order. Special dietary requirements catered for. Seating inside, down and upstairs, and outside.
